The Ground Rules
Silliness is, by definition, a complete waste of time.
It produces no measurable outcomes, solves no pressing problems, and generates zero ROI. That's exactly the point.
It's the pure joy of doing something purely for the joy of doing it.
No expectations. No results required. Just silly.
The following do not meet the standard
Not really
- 🎭Clever disguised as silly
Walking the delicate edge between clever and silly is tricky. If you find yourself trying to be clever about being silly, that is probably not what we are looking for.
- 💰Commercial silliness
Ideally, silliness with no financial motivation behind it. We understand it is not always possible to trace the commercial threads of every silly act, and sometimes something is just too silly to ignore. But we prefer those gloriously pointless moments done purely for the joy of it.
- 👄Mean, rude, vulgar, or harmful
No bullying or rudeness. Keep it strictly PG.
- 🐰Memes
That is a whole different rabbit hole.
